EDI awarded 'Best Service Provider for 2016' by RTA in Tastahel Awards

Emirates Driving Institute (EDI), the largest and most successful driving institute of the UAE and Middle East, has received the ‘Best Service Provider for 2016’ award by Road & Transport Authority (RTA) for three years in a row. 

The Tastahel Award ceremony was held yesterday in conjunction with the Happiness Week to appreciate the role played by institutions and individuals in upgrading services on offer by the RTA to its clientele. Several RTA’s CEOs and directors as well as representatives of winning institutions and scores of RTA’s employees were present at the recognition ceremony. 

HE Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of RTA presented the ‘Best Service Provider for 2016’ award to Emirates Driving Institute. 
Securing the first place, EDI has also bagged the title of the best company to offer driver training and licensing services in the UAE, basing on customer satisfaction, waiting time, and service processing time as the criteria.

Emirates Driving Institute have been the pioneers to providing driving license training courses using its fleet of over 1000 vehicles for more than 10 courses in different vehicle categories. Since its inception around half a million students and counting have successfully acquired their UAE driving license from EDI. 

Speaking on this achievement, Mr. Amer Ahmed Belhasa, Managing Director, Emirates Driving Institute said: “To get this prestigious award for the third time is indeed a matter of great pride for us. As EDI completes its 25 years of driving excellence, this award is a strong reiteration of our commitment to creating safer drivers by providing services of highest international standard. This award inspires us to further strengthen our reputation as the leading learner and driver training organization in the Middle East.”
